Unfortunately, too many women are not thriving in senior roles, they are just about surviving. While seen as highly capable by their organisations, too many feel overwhelmed and suffer crises of confidence. I hear this in coaching, behind closed doors, all the time.
HR and organisation leaders see the outcome of this: plateaus in performance, mental health challenges, regrettable resignations, loss of role models and a weakened talent pipeline, resulting in a growing gender imbalance at senior levels. This is bad news for everyone.
